Tom is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and also leads the Firm’s Tax Department. He concentrates his practice in the closely held business area where he provides income tax planning, compliance and advisory services to a variety of industries. Tom has significant experience in the areas of business entity structure, formations, and exit strategies, including merger and acquisition due diligence.
Tom also provides compliance and advisory services to tax exempt organizations including hospitals, nursing homes and other not-for-profit organizations.
Tom serves on the Board of Governors of the Century Club of Syracuse and is a former Board Member and Treasurer of the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and is a former Chair of the NYSSCPA Syracuse Chapter Tax Committee.
Tom received his BBA in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University. Tom resides with his wife and two children in Minoa, New York.
