October 12, 2011 - Fust Charles Chambers LLP named as one of the 2011 “Best Accounting Firms to Work for”
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Fust Charles Chambers LLP, a full-service certified public accounting firm in Syracuse, N.Y., was recently named one of the 2011 “Best Accounting Firms to Work for” by Accounting Today and Best Companies Group. With 80 employees, Fust Charles Chambers LLP was honored in the category for medium-sized companies with 50 to 249 employees.
The survey and award program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in the accounting industry, benefiting the nation’s economy, its workforce and businesses. The Best Accounting Firms to Work for list is made up of a total of 100 companies, split into three categories: small, medium and large-sized companies. Accounting firms from across the country entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Accounting Firms to Work for. The first part of the survey consisted of evaluating each nominated firm’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top firms and final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determined the final rankings.

October 1, 2011 - Fust Charles Chambers LLP announces two promotions within the Audit Department
Fust Charles Chambers LLP a full-service certified public accounting firm in Syracuse, N.Y has promoted the following employees:
Meghan Bankowski, CPA was named Manager in the Audit Department. She joined the firm in 2006 after receiving her accounting degree from LeMoyne College. Her areas of expertise include healthcare, not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. Bankowski is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Bankowski lives in Baldwinsville.
Bill Michalski, CPA was named Manager in the Audit Department. He joined the firm in early 2011 after working five years at a local accounting firm. Michalski earned his degree in accounting from LeMoyne College. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Michalski resides in Syracuse.

Fust Charles Chambers LLP a full-service certified public accounting firm in Syracuse, N.Y has hired the following people for their Audit and Tax Departments:
James Capparelli, CPA has joined the Firm as a tax associate after working 2 years for a local accounting firm. Capparelli obtained his accounting degree from LeMoyne College.
Theresa Chambers has joined the Firm as a tax associate after recently obtaining her master’s degree in accounting from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. She comes to Syracuse from her hometown of Buffalo. Chambers has passed the CPA exam and is one step closer to obtaining her CPA license.
Kristin Connor of Syracuse and Mary Ellen Vaughan of Binghamton have joined the Firm as audit associates. They both received their master’s degree from LeMoyne College.
Both Michael Lilienthal of Baldwinsville, with a master’s degree from SUNY Geneseo and Kevin Burke of Syracuse, with a master’s degree from Siena College join the Firm as audit associates.
Riza Yuhico has been hired as an audit associate and comes to the Firm as a graduate of California State University, Fullerton. She has already passed the CPA exam and grew up in Manila, Philippines.
